Engineering activities related to the design or construction of buildings for hospitals, research institutes or medical-social institutions are among the longstanding recognized specialties of the INGÉROP Groupe, reputed to be one of the major hospital engineering outfits in France since the development of the Mantes-la-Jolie hospital center, the neurological service of the CHU [University hospital] of Nancy, and the hospital at the Percy army training center in Clamart.
Health services is a market sector that allows for advance planning. These are complex, comprehensive industrial projects. They are technically advanced projects with tight budgets, often combining new construction and reconstruction on an occupied site: reconstruction of the Gustave Roussy institute, and hospitals in Seclin and Cambrai.
These are contractually varied markets: traditional project management, but also PPP for the Cité sanitaire in Saint-Nazaire, design construction for the Fondation Imagine.
These are, furthermore, political projects. A hospital is often a city?s most important employer and an economic lifeline for local builders.
Available at the Groupe?s Headquarters, all the experience and resources required to answer the needs of the health services market: the team of project managers, the BEEM team specialized in biomedical equipment, specialized engineers battle-trained in hospital techniques and, of course, Joseph de Saint-Exupéry, the expert.
Making the most of synergy and teamwork, the Regions chalk up successful accomplishments: The Marseille trauma center by Méditerranée, the Besançon CHU and the recent hospital of Hautepierre by Est, without forgetting successful projects undertaken since the beginning of the year (extension of the Saint-Joseph Hospital foundation in Marseille and extension of the hospital center in Dunkerque).
In progress and in perspective, these projects show that INGÉROP successfully holds a significant share of this recurrent market.
